Helpful information on Tirupati-Tirumala Darshan

Hi All,

‘Deepalankara Seva’ would be performed in the Tiruchanur temple every Friday between 5 pm and 6 pm and five devotees could attend the seva on a ticket priced at Rs.500 each.

  1. visit tirumala during week days i.e. Monday through Thursday
  2. Plan for 2 days of stay.
  3. Reach the adobe as early as possible i.e. by 3:00 am – 4:00 am.
  4. immediately rush to Vijaya Bank counter opposite to Viakuntam queue complex
  5. Stand in the counter -1, there are two counters one for AAD/NPD (counter-2) and other for all sevas (Counter-1)
  6. The counter will open at 8:00 am but if we do not stand in queue by 4:00 -4:30 you may not get the ticket. If you have patience you can go to queue by 3:30 am to increase the chance
  7. wait patiently till your chance comes
  8. Buy Thomala Seva or Archana ticket. These sevas are performed from Tuesday till Thursday and tickets are sold a day in advance. TTD sells approx 90 Tickets for thomala seva and around 100 tickets for archana.
  9. These two sevas will allow you to sit infornt of the Lord in the garbha gudi for 20-30 Min esp for Thomala seva where in you will get see two aarthis performed to lord and to an extent pushphalankara.
  10. take rest on that day
  11. In the evening around 10:00 Pm go to Vaikuntam queue complex to see if Ekantha seva is being performed. If yes, you will hit for a double bonanza you can actually sit in fornt of the GOD for about 20 Min and see the Ekantha seva.
  12. Go to Vaikuntam queue complex as early as possible i.e. 2:00 am to 2:30 am.
  13. The earlier you report the near you can sit in front of the lord.

If you are in Bangalore or any dist head quarter in AP follow the additional steps.

  1. visit the TTD Kalyana manta Pam book for AAD ticket , you may need to go at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
  2. Once you are done with Thomala seva rush back to Vaikuntam queue complex and stand in queue for AAD.

For those who can plan in advance (4-5 Yrs) next time you go to Tirumala to perform Thiruppavada seva, you will be seated in front of lord for 4 hrs. Buying ticket is very difficult; one needs the Lord’s blessing for that J

Request procedure for changes to details on PAN card

FYI….

(a)

Online Change Request Form is not available for:
* Non-Residents and
* Government Organisations

(b)

Applicant shall fill Change Request Form online and submit the form.

(c)

If there are any errors, applicant shall rectify them and re-submit the form.

(d)

A confirmation screen with data filled by the applicant shall be displayed.

(e)

Applicant may either edit or confirm the same.

(f)

On confirmation, an acknowledgment screen shall be displayed. The acknowledgment shall contain the following:
* A 15-digit unique acknowledgment number
* Status of applicant
* Permanent Account Number (PAN)
* Name of applicant
* Father's Name (in case of 'Individual')
* Date of Birth/Incorporation/Agreement/Partnership or Trust Deed/Formation of Body of Individuals/Association of Persons
* Address for Communication
* Space for Photograph (in case of 'Individual')
* Payment Details
* Space for Signature
* Details of Proof of Identity and Address

(g)

Applicant shall save and print this acknowledgment.

(h)

For Changes or Correction in PAN data, fill all mandatory fields of the Form and select the corresponding box on left margin of appropriate field where correction is required.

(i)

If application is for a new PAN card, on account of changes / corrections in the details appearing on the old PAN card, enclose old PAN card with the acknowledgment.

(j)

For New PAN Card only, without any changes, fill all fields in the Form but do not select any box on left margin.

(k)

If the application is for a new PAN card on account of loss/non-receipt of PAN card, applicant may enclose a copy of any document/letter indicating PAN issued by Income Tax Department (ITD) or NSDL or any other agency issuing PAN on behalf of ITD.

(l)

For Cancellation of PAN, fill all mandatory fields in the Form, enter PAN to be cancelled in Item No.10 of the Form and select the check box on left margin. PAN to be cancelled should not be same as PAN (the one currently used) mentioned at the top of the Form. If applicant has a PAN card for the PAN to be cancelled, the same should be enclosed with the acknowledgment.

(m)

'Individual' applicants applying for a new PAN card (on account of non-receipt of PAN card or change/correction in any of the details appearing on the PAN card) should affix a recent colour photograph (3.5 cm x 2.5 cm) in the space provided in the acknowledgment. The photograph should not be stapled or clipped to the acknowledgment. (The clarity of the image on PAN card will depend on the quality and clarity of the photograph affixed on the form). If the application is only on account of change in address for communication, telephone number or cancellation of PAN (Item No.10 in the Form), photograph need not be affixed.

(n)

Signature / Left thumb impression should only be within the box provided in the acknowledgment. In case of applicants other than 'Individuals', the authorised signatory shall sign the acknowledgment and affix the appropriate seal or stamp.

(o)

Thumb impression, if used, should be attested by a Magistrate or a Notary Public or Gazetted Officer, under official seal and stamp.

(p)

The fee for Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Corrections in PAN Data is Rs.66/- (Rs.60/- application charge + 10.20% Service Tax).

(q)

Fee can be paid either by demand draft or by cheque favouring 'NSDL-PAN'.

(r)

If payment is by demand draft it should be payable at Mumbai and applicant shall mention 'PAN Application' and the acknowledgment number on the reverse of the demand draft.

(s)

Applicants making payment by cheque shall deposit a local cheque (drawn on any bank) with any HDFC Bank branch across the country (except Dahej). List of HDFC Bank branches.

(t)

Applicant shall select appropriate mode of payment in the acknowledgment and fill relevant details.

(u)

The acknowledgment duly signed, affixed with photograph (in case of 'Individuals') alongwith demand draft, if any, and proof of identity & address as specified in the application form is to be sent to NSDL at 'National Securities Depository Limited, Trade World, 'A' Wing, 4th Floor, Kamala Mills Compound, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel (W), Mumbai-400013'.

(v)

Superscribe the envelope with 'APPLICATION FOR Change Request-Acknowledgment Number' (e.g. 'APPLICATION FOR Change Request-881010200000097').

(w)

Your acknowledgment, demand draft, if any, and proofs, should reach NSDL within 15 days from the date of online application.

(x)

Application shall be processed only on receipt of relevant proofs and realisation of payment.

(y)

If applicant has requested for:
* a new PAN card without selecting any of the check boxes on the left margin, OR
* changes/corrections in the non-core fields (i.e., address and telephone details, cancellation of PAN) and also requested for a new PAN card,
the details on the new PAN card will be as per the database with the Income Tax Department (ITD) and not on the information provided by the applicant in the Change Request Form.

It may also be noted that if applicant requests for a new PAN card on account of changes / corrections in Name to be printed on the card, Father's Name (only for 'Individuals'), Date of Birth/ Incorporation/Agreement/Partnership or Trust Deed /Formation of Body of Individuals/Association of Persons, Photo and/or Signature Mismatch (only for 'Individuals'), the details of only those fields for which the applicant has selected the box on the left margin of the Form will be reflected on the new PAN card. The other details on the PAN card will be as per ITD database.

In case of sole proprietorship concern, the sole proprietor should use/apply PAN in his/her personal name.

Individual applicants are allowed to provide abbreviated 'Name to be printed on the card'. The abbreviated name should necessarily contain the expanded Last Name/Surname.

Photo Mismatch

Individuals issued a PAN card with some other person's photograph will select the box on the left margin. The original PAN card with wrong photograph is to be enclosed with the acknowledgment.

Individuals issued a PAN card with some other person's signature will select the box on the left margin. The original PAN card with wrong signature is to be enclosed with the acknowledgment.

Address for Communication

Please select either 'Residential' or 'Office' address as the address for communication. Address for communication can be Residential Address only if the applicant is an Individual / HUF / Body of Individuals / Association of Persons / Artificial Juridicial Person.
All future communication will be sent at the address indicated in this field.
If Address for Communication is selected as 'Office', Office Name and Address is mandatory.
Out of first four address fields, applicant must fill up atleast two fields. Town/City/District, State/Union Territory and PIN are mandatory.
