Helpful information on Tirupati-Tirumala Darshan

Hi All,

‘Deepalankara Seva’ would be performed in the Tiruchanur temple every Friday between 5 pm and 6 pm and five devotees could attend the seva on a ticket priced at Rs.500 each.

  1. visit tirumala during week days i.e. Monday through Thursday
  2. Plan for 2 days of stay.
  3. Reach the adobe as early as possible i.e. by 3:00 am – 4:00 am.
  4. immediately rush to Vijaya Bank counter opposite to Viakuntam queue complex
  5. Stand in the counter -1, there are two counters one for AAD/NPD (counter-2) and other for all sevas (Counter-1)
  6. The counter will open at 8:00 am but if we do not stand in queue by 4:00 -4:30 you may not get the ticket. If you have patience you can go to queue by 3:30 am to increase the chance
  7. wait patiently till your chance comes
  8. Buy Thomala Seva or Archana ticket. These sevas are performed from Tuesday till Thursday and tickets are sold a day in advance. TTD sells approx 90 Tickets for thomala seva and around 100 tickets for archana.
  9. These two sevas will allow you to sit infornt of the Lord in the garbha gudi for 20-30 Min esp for Thomala seva where in you will get see two aarthis performed to lord and to an extent pushphalankara.
  10. take rest on that day
  11. In the evening around 10:00 Pm go to Vaikuntam queue complex to see if Ekantha seva is being performed. If yes, you will hit for a double bonanza you can actually sit in fornt of the GOD for about 20 Min and see the Ekantha seva.
  12. Go to Vaikuntam queue complex as early as possible i.e. 2:00 am to 2:30 am.
  13. The earlier you report the near you can sit in front of the lord.

If you are in Bangalore or any dist head quarter in AP follow the additional steps.

  1. visit the TTD Kalyana manta Pam book for AAD ticket , you may need to go at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
  2. Once you are done with Thomala seva rush back to Vaikuntam queue complex and stand in queue for AAD.

For those who can plan in advance (4-5 Yrs) next time you go to Tirumala to perform Thiruppavada seva, you will be seated in front of lord for 4 hrs. Buying ticket is very difficult; one needs the Lord’s blessing for that J
